This film centers Black maternal health and infant vitality while combatting racism, the cause of these disparities.

The film is narrated by Dr. Ciara Dennis-Morgan, A Clinical Psychologist & Clinical Director, Dr. Cheryl Johnson an OBGYN & Lakesh Hayes a Executive Director of a Nonprofit Organization. It also features 4 different women & mothers birthing stories, highlighting the insidious racial biases of the medical industry.

Our intention in this body of work is to center Black women’s voices, stories, lives, and love. The film captures components of ongoing programming in Akron, Ohio
